Olympic Triathlon Training in Paris Cancelled Due to Pollution Concerns

The scheduled Olympic triathlon training in Paris on Sunday has been cancelled because of high pollution levels in the Seine River. Although earlier tests indicated the water would be safe for the competition, heavy rain in recent days has affected the water quality. The swim leg of the triathlon familiarisation, planned for Sunday morning, will no longer take place. The running and bike familiarisations will proceed as scheduled. Organizers express confidence that the events will still take place as planned, expecting improved weather and a reduction in pollution levels.
